About Us

Digital Media Communications manages video production operations, cable television, and social media channels under University Communications. Our department is responsible for the operation of the University’s television channel, which can be seen locally on Spectrum/Time Warner Cable (Ch.22), AT&T Uverse (Ch.99), Google Fiber (Ch.143) and UNC Charlotte Housing and Residence Life (Ch.49-1). We also operate a streaming video channel, and satellite downlink services. In addition, the department is responsible for the institutions ever-evolving Social Media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Flickr.
